Tuesday Stronghold

Heading up to the Stronghold this morning. Been looking forward to this "trip" for quite a while. It's a 20 minute drive, but we never seem to make the time to get up there. But now's the time to do it with all the wildflowers coming out. I'm hoping to get a pretty nice show.

Monday Lettuce

First harvest of lettuce this year. These are 'Black Seeded Simpson' that self-sowed and came up on their own. I cut off a few of the outer leaves of the largest plant, chopped them up, and had them on my burrito for lunch:
